Youtube founders Steve Chen, Chad Hurley and Jawed Karim created Youtube because they wanted to share videos from a dinner party with friends and their email programs would not accept big size video files. Youtube enabled million of people with video camera and internet connection to share their stories with the World since it was created.

- The first ever video that was uploaded on Youtube is by Jawed Karim (one of Youtube founders) titled “Me at zoo” on April 23rd, 2005 which is 18 seconds long. Here is the video
